It’s that time of year again to brace yourself for the upcoming winter months and the holidays spent with your family. If you and your family are planning on traveling this holiday season, you might be concerned about keeping your CBD routine consistent. Never to fear–here are some CBD travel tips for how to maintain your CBD routine while traveling this holiday season.
CBD Travel Tips
Set a reminder. Even when you aren’t traveling, remembering to take your daily CBD supplement can be a challenge. If you’re just as forgetful as I am, set an alarm or reminder on your phone to make sure you don’t miss a serving!
Ask a friend or family member to hold you accountable. Traveling with your loved ones is certainly good for one thing: they never stop bugging you. During your holiday travels this year, make the most of your family’s nagging and ask them to remind you to take your CBD. Mothers, specifically, are the most reliable choice when it comes to remembering your supplements.
Pack your CBD with your other supplements/medications or in your toiletries bag. So you don’t forget where it is, put your full spectrum CBD in a place you know you’ll come across it, just in case you do forget.
If you’re going out of the country, make sure to research the CBD laws. While CBD is legal in all 50 states, traveling outside of the US with CBD may cause some problems for you. Though it’s unlikely, it’s best to do the proper research regarding the region you are traveling to–just to be certain. Similarly, if you’re going on a cruise this Christmas, make sure the cruise liner allows its passengers to possess CBD.
If you’re flying, make sure your bottle doesn’t surpass the fluid limit (or put it in your checked bag.) Flying with CBD is perfectly legal, but traveling by plane with any liquids in your bag can cause an issue. Make sure to check the limit on the amount of fluids you can have in your bag–or wrap it up nice and snug before sticking it in your checked bag. Similarly, if you normally buy the 4 oz bottle of our
Genesis Blend Hemp Extract, it could also be a good idea to purchase a 1 oz bottle for your travels. Since the 1 oz
Genesis Blend offers enough servings for 2 weeks, it might be a smarter option to have for traveling–that way, you can leave your bottle sealed when on an aircraft or in the car.
If you plan to drive, remember to take your CBD bottle out of the car. Because CBD is so easily altered by heat, leaving your CBD bottle in the car is not recommended. If you’re going on a long road trip, make sure to keep your bottle out of the sunlight.
Switch to softgels. If you can’t store your CBD oil in a cool, dark place, it may be a smarter option for you to travel with our Genesis Blend
softgels or
capsules to eliminate the risk of leakage. We’re not saying it’ll happen all the time, but we always recommend packing your oil in a ziplock bag–it’s better to be safe than sorry.
